About the Artist

Dean Glover lives in Bournemouth with his wife Alex and two young sons. Although spending many years working in front of a computerDean and Ryan, Dean has always had a creative side from a young age.

He discovered lifecasting following the desire for a career change and a near family tragedy.

From IT to ART-Y

Dean spent 14 years working for a large company in Poole, the last 10 of those in IT. Then came news of impending redundancy just as the country plunged into a credit crunch and recession. While the employment marketplace worsened, he pondered taking the chance to change direction completely and do something that would allow his creative juices to flow.

Lifecasting seemed the perfect medium and after giving it a go, he was hooked. The next few months were spent researching and perfecting the process through practice, practice and more practice! Immediate family became test subjects and a young son and nephews, then a pregnant wife, followed by another son made perfect models!

18 months later, Save The Moment was launched.

Memories are so important

Dean's eldest son Ryan was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of two and underwent major surgery and treatment. Dean hadn't discovered lifecasting then but looking back realised how a lifecast would have made a beautiful memory had the worst happened. Thankfully Ryan repsonded well to treatment and three years on he is still doing incredibly well.
